Transcendence

Everyday Transcendence profiles six people who each find a way to lose themselves in their chosen activity. From calligraphy to running, most activities are relatively simple and repetitive, which serves to distract the conscious mind with enough activity that it can tune out, allowing a calm state of flow and connection. The short film series has been shot entirely in slow motion in 2013 and 2014. We have just completed the first in the series, with more coming out in 2014. This video features Nina Rao chanting tradiitonal Indian kirtan, accompanied by Arjun on tabla, with Bhavani Lee dancing. Directed by Sandy Chase. How do you find your Transcendence?
